"SHARE THE LOVE"
LAS Families,
During these difficult times, the Student Council will be hosting a three-week charity drive to benefit local families. Each week a different request will be made for a type of item, collected in their homerooms, and given to the charity at the end of the week. If you wish to participate, the following outlines the weeks and donations being collected:
Week One, 1/30-2/3 FOOD AND NONPERISHABLE ITEMS for pantries (any household items, not only food)
Week Two, 2/6-2/10 LIGHTLY USED CLOTHING any items that would normally be donated via the red containers in town
Week Three, 2/13-2/17 LIGHTLY USED BOOKS all types, they will be sorted and sent accordingly

Lincoln Akerman School is located on Route 1 in Hampton Falls, New Hampshire just behind the Hampton Falls Common. LAS is a K-8 school in a lovely country setting. We are surrounded by apple trees, the Falls and salt marshes with the beach only minutes away. With all the apple orchards around us, our students really do bring in apples for their teachers!
This year our school has 272 students. We have a morning and an afternoon kindergarten session of one class each along with two 1st, 2nd,3rd and 4th grades which use the looping philosophy. Our grades 5-8 embrace the Middle School philosophy.
