I am working to update the Reading Link on the LAS webpage so that it can continue to provide you with a helpful resource as you, in turn, encourage your child(ren) to read. I have updated the links that provide recent book choice and award winners from both the International Reading Association and the American Library Association. I have included links for both the Cocheco and the Great Stone Face Books, which are New Hampshire resources to help with making good book choices. I am also in the process of updating my Suggested Reading Lists. In addition to these lists, there is a link to lexile.com. This website will help you to translate the results of your child’s NWEA scores into appropriated leveled books that match your child’s current reading ability. This link is useful for grades 2 through 8, as they are the grades that have participated in NWEA testing.
