You may have noticed that my teacher page is expanding. It is now a reading link. I am in the process of creating a reading resource on the LAS website that will serve as a resource to you in many ways. First of all, it will provide you with information about our Fundations program, which is a K-4 phonetic based reading and writing program. Secondly, the reading link will provide you with resources that will help you to help your child choose good fit books to read. Finally, there is a link for our newly funded Title I Program, which will provide support to students in the areas of math and language arts. Some of these links are fully developed, while others are “under construction”. Check back often to see what changes have been made and what new information is available. As the holidays approach, you may be looking to find gifts for your children. Books make wonderful gifts. In addition to the resources already available on this website, I would like to remind you that our PTO is hosting a Book Fair from Monday, November 30^th through Friday, December 4^th.
