About North Hampton School: School Council

School Board | School Council

To gain a better understanding of the purpose of our School Council, read this excerpt from the School Council Constitution:

The Council is a representative body that will collect and evaluate evidence and establish priorities for school-wide improvement; implement the school improvement plan; initiate and/or approve task forces; and consider recommendations.  Decisions will be based upon the following criteria:

- Greatest need

- Greatest instructional impact on a school-wide basis

- Within the control and sphere of responsibility by the school

A full copy of the Council Constitution is available on-line for your review.

One of the primary objectives of the Council is to implement the School Improvement Plan (SIP), developed in conjunction with the Community and approved by the School Board.

The North Hampton School Council usually meets on the second Wednesday of every month at 3:05 p.m.
