Getting to know Mrs. Pongrace:

I grew up in Portsmouth, NH.  I received my bachelor's degree in child development at UNH and my masters degree at Texas Tech University in early childhood education.  Having traveled as a military wife for the past 21 years, we have 12 moves under our belt.  I t has been exciting to live and teach in such places as Florida, Arizona, North Carolina, Texas, and Oklahoma.  I have acquired a vast and varied amount of teaching experience in the public and private schools in preschool and kindergarten. Having equal experience in the higher education field, I have trained teachers and taught many early childhood courses at the college level.  My most recent job has been an instructor at Hesser College and an intern supervisor for UNH.

At home, we have two boys, Matt (19) and Jake (17).  My best friend is my yellow lab, Sally, who you can find me gardening in the yard or walking the beach with .  I also have a wild puppy, Molly! I live 2 doors down from NHS and look forward to pulling a wagon to school each day.
