Education, Training and other work experience:

Ms. Outsen received a BA in English from Barnard College, Columbia  University and a MEd from the University of New Hampshire. She taught second and third grade in New York City. She has also supervised University of New Hampshire interns at Garrison School in Dover and taught a UNH graduate-level seminar titled Learning Through Teaching at both Auburn Elementary and North Hampton Schools. Ms. Outsen is the author of Teaching Comprehension Strategies All Readers Need.
