SAU 21 Curriculum Support Structures
The SAU has built structures around the production and refinement of curriculum alignment. Curriculum teams are a cornerstone of this work.
Purpose:
2019-2020 Curriculum teams will work to identify common standards & competencies associated with specific grade levels based on statewide published documents. Curriculum teams will determine the current status of each school with respect to these expectations and develop school-based plans in order to achieve commonality.
Related SAU Goal:
SAU 21 will agree upon & publish competencies and underlying standards associated with all classes in all academic areas. Standards will include explicit, measurable learning objectives. Rubrics applied to student work will reflect the accepted standards/ competencies.
