Friday Notes - 1/28/22

Dear Parents,

I hope you are well and prepared for this crazy amount of snow predicted for the area! After a couple of challenging weeks with our staff and student attendance, I am feeling very hopeful that the worst is behind us.

Our Fall of 2022 Kindergarten Class registration is open. If you know of children ready for Kindergarten, please spread the word. Registration can be done online through our website.

Thanks to Don Stobbe and other parents for keeping our skating rink up and running. It is getting lots of use during our PE classes. Families are welcome to use the rink after school and on weekends. Let me know if you need to borrow skates; we would like everyone to enjoy it.

Our boys and girls basketball teams, coached by Sarah Coutts and Kevin McKenney, are finishing up their seasons. Kevin and Sarah have done a wonderful job teaching skills and teamwork, and both are wonderful role models for our students.

We are organizing our famous floor hockey club, and further down the road will begin spring sports of track and field, softball, and baseball. Details for floor hockey should be ready next week.

Thank you to Julie Carnes for organizing a COVID style Ski Club this year. We are in week 3, and everything has gone very smoothly thanks to her attention to detail and a strong sense of organization. Lots of happy kids head to Bradford Ski every Friday!

This coming Wednesday, February 2nd, is an early release day for students. They will be dismissed at 11:30.

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend,
