  • Grade 5 student Anna Evans participated in this weekend's NH Stringfest that took place in Goffstown at Mountain View Middle School.  It was a great honor for her to be selected to play in Orchestra 4 on Violin I - the highest level possible in Stringfest. The all-day festival is an intense combination of practice and performance attended by string students in grades 4 - 8 from all over the state. Anna was the only student there from SAU 21/SAU 90, (and, in fact, from the entire Seacoast). She worked really hard for the honor and has practiced for the event since last December.  They played 1812 Overture, Hungarian Dance #5, and Handel's Theme from the Harmonious Blacksmith.

  • Grade 5 Zoo - “Cagey” Happenings at Seabrook Middle School! During the month of March, 5th grade students at Seabrook Middle School are adopting a zoo animal to research and report on. This project covers required curriculum in science, reading and writing. After writing a five paragraph essay to demonstrate all they learned, students will dress up as their zoo animal and prepare a realistic habitat featuring themselves as the animal.  Parents are invited to attend the 5th grade zoo on Thursday, March 13th.  The zoo doors will be open from 1:15 – 2:00 pm.
