Title 1 is a federally funded program to provide supplemental educational opportunities in both literacy and mathematics for children.  Children are selected for this program through screenings, NWEA testing, common assessments, teacher observations and school records.  Every child is assessed at the beginning, middle and end of the year to help track progress and drive instruction.
