The Health Office 2022 - 2023

Welcome to Seabrook Middle School Health Office!

My name is Jordenne Sargent and this is my 4th year in the SMS Health Office. I am available for
first aid and routine care for students during the school day. Students who are ill or injured
during the school day may be administered first aid, may be sent home, or in extreme emergencies
may be transported to a hospital. Parents are notified if a serious injury or illness occurs. A
written report is kept of all accidents and health visits.

Effective management of student’s health care needs requires a partnership among the student, the
parents/guardians, the primary care provider and the adults who work with the students at school. I
work closely with the team to help coordinate the resources of school, home and the community for
the sake of keeping our students healthy and ready to learn.

Our school policy is that students are not to call or text their parents/guardians and ask to be
dismissed because of an illness. If your child does do this, please advise them to come to the
health office for evaluation and follow up.

Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns. I look forward to working with
you and your students!
