Dear Parents,
We hope to see you tomorrow morning at our Sugaring Off Party. This community event will be held in the back of the school and in the Sugar Shack. Students will be on hand to give you a short tour and lesson on sap boiling and making our famous LAS Maple Syrup! The event is from 9-1. There will be lots of food and fun!
The PowerSchool Portal will be closed to parents beginning this afternoon. Our second trimester is closing and teachers will be working on report cards. They will be available to families on March 22.
For Families of Grade 4 -8 Students
We hope your students enjoyed the King Arthur Learn, Bake and Share demonstration last month. We practiced listening, reading, science, and math skills, everyone was able to bring home a wonderful baking kit. We would love to see photos of your students learning, baking, and sharing at home. No worries, if your student hasn't had a chance yet. We are continuing to add to our bulletin board at LAS with images of the process of baking bread, pizza, pretzels, or cinnamon rolls and sharing it as an act of kindness which will enrich everyone!
