Dear Parents,
On Tuesday morning, November 7 (no school for students), our staff is offering time for parent conferences. If you still need to sign up and would like an appointment, please contact your child's teacher. We are offering conferences both in person or via Zoom for added convenience.
The Annual Tiger Trot is coming up on Saturday, November 18. We will begin at 9 a.m. with a fun run for the little ones and a 5K race for older students and adults. We hope all our LAS families can join us for a fun and festive morning! Winter basketball teams for boys and girls in grades 5- 8 will begin on November 13. If your child is interested, they can still sign up in the gym.
We have enjoyed a lot of fun activities at LAS in the last month! We have been taking many pictures of them and will share more via our FaceBook page and our LAS Instagram feed in the coming months. If you are not connected to those social media sites and would like to be, you can click on the icon on the top right-hand side of our website home page. We have also added slide shows in our cafeteria at lunchtime, with additional information for students. Daily slide shows include photos, morning announcements, birthdays, and any other pertinent information students need to be reminded of. So far, they are a hit! Please join us on one or more of these sites if interested!
