The week of March 18

Dear Parents,

I want to congratulate all our grade 5-8 students who participated in our theatre production, Twice Upon A Time.

This was their first time performing in a play for most of these students, and their hard work and courage were fully displayed! There are so many life lessons learned in theatre, including self-awareness, teamwork, public speaking skills, and being open and receptive to constructive criticism. Thank you to Stacey Bellen, Jill Berry, and Wendy Welch for coaching this group. The production came together in the final week, and it was evident that all the students involved had a lot of fun!

LAS will be celebrating World Down Syndrome Day this Thursday, March 21st. We will celebrate by wearing crazy socks and/or dressing in blue and yellow. Please see the official LAS Facebook page here for more information. https://www.facebook.com/LincolnAkermanSchool/

SAU 21 is announcing a new support opportunity for Grandparents in kinship roles. The groups meet every two weeks through June at the Seabrook or Hampton Public Libraries. All Grandparents in this role are welcome!

Our students have been working hard this month on ELA NHSAS testing and NWEA Math tests. Both will be completed this month.

Power School will be open at 3:00 today for parents to view Trimester Two report cards.

Sincerely,

Beth
