Dear Parents,
We've had a wonderfully productive week post-vacation, and now, get ready for the exciting spring activities that are just around the corner!
Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week! As always, our supportive PTO has a fun week planned to show appreciation for our staff, and lots of people here are looking forward to it!
Additionally, our Scholastic Book Fair will be running all week. We have a calendar full of classroom visits that children always enjoy. Families can also attend the book fair next Friday, May 10, during the PTO-sponsored Spring Carnival. The Carnival time has shifted to 4:30 - 6:00 pm.
Amy Middleton and I will host incoming Kindergarten Parents at a Kindergarten Open House on May 23, 2024, beginning at 6 pm. If you know of a family with an incoming kindergarten-age student, please share the news!

Staff Appreciation Week: May 6 - May 10. Please help us celebrate our wonderful LAS teachers and staff! LAS PTO has several fun surprises planned, and we would love your participation to make this week extra special. Families, check your email from Wednesday, May 1, for more details!
The Scholastic Book Fair is back at LAS from May 6 to May 10, followed by the return of our Spring Carnival (4:30 - 6) and Family Night at the Book Fair on Friday, May 10. See our LAS PTO Newsletter to sign up for a volunteer spot at the carnival!
Our next LAS PTO meeting will take place on Tuesday, May 7 @ 7 pm in the LAS Library and via Google Meet. Check out the agenda here. In addition to conducting general business and discussing our exciting spring events, we will take nominations and vote for the incoming PTO Officers for the 2024/2025 school year.
