Many thanks to the LAS families that provided a Trunk of fun at our Trunk or Treat Friday night! The evening was festive and fun with lots of candy and games for all ages to enjoy! Thank you for providing this experience for LAS students.
This Friday, October 28th, is picture retake day. Please return your picture packet if your student is planning on re-taking their photo

SEL Information from SAU 21 Asst. Supt. Dr. Mary Toomey
Dr. Toomey has posted information about an SEL tool that is available to all schools in SAU 21. It is called the PEAR HSA screening tool for SEL. She plans to have it administered to students in grades 3-12 with parental consent. Since it is a non-academic survey, NH law requires express written consent from parents. The data could be used to see trends in SEL strengths in each building and to identify areas where our curriculum may need adjustment. It can also be used when individual students struggle. Only students whose parents return the permission forms will take the survey in school. Please see the links to the information on the SAU website. We plan to send the actual permission forms and school specific letter in a separate email next week.
