Community Engagement Value Statement

SAU 21 strives to provide students with meaningful opportunities and resources necessary to create the change that they want to see in their school, local, and global community. Students will participate in service work, application of research, and passion projects to become agents of change in a dynamic and diverse world.

Community Engagement Goals 2024-2029

  • Students will successfully participate in service opportunities that give them opportunities to create the change that they want to see in the world.
  • Students will have regular opportunities to practice civic engagement through local, regional and national organizations.
  • Students will demonstrate ethical decision making skills as they relate to social, political, and economic dilemmas.
